From stunning ocean views to tranquil forests, the parks in the Ocean Shores area showcase the natural beauty of the region and provide a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the great outdoors.

Our Parks

  • Located by Duck Lake, north of the Coastal Interpretive Center, this small park is perfect for picnics and relaxation. It has a playground, a dock, covered picnic tables, and unobstructed lake views.

  • On Duck Lake Dr., two and a half miles south of the airport. This park is 3.2 acres.

  • Damon Park in Ocean Shores is a perfect place for outdoor activities with your family. It provides amenities such as restrooms, parking, and sports facilities, including soccer, basketball, baseball, and pickleball courts. The park also features a playground for leisure activities and shelters for breaks.

  • On Bass Ave, NE, on the west side of Duck Lake. From Albatross turn south. 1.5 acre neighborhood park.

  • You can reach this ADA accessible trail from the parking area at Chance A La Mer. This paved path winds through the sandy area, offering views of the Pacific Ocean. Please note, there is no ADA accessible route to the beach from the end of the trail, as it runs alongside the coast.

  • Get stoked at the North Beach Skatepark! Ocean Shores' community skatepark has a super fun mini ramp with an extension, three quarterpipes, a fun box, and a ledge to skate. It is located between Bennett's Fish Shack and the Ocean Shores Golf Course.

  • Martha MacMorran Memorial Pathway

  • On the northeast side of Ocean Shores Blvd., across from the Sands Motel. 1.0 acre park provides playground equipment, picnic tables, and porta-potty. Next to the Lions Club meeting hall.

  • On Albatross and Chance a la Mer Avenue, by the airport. 7.1 acres on the north end of Duck Lake, only 1 mile from the downtown business district, and just west of the airport. Fir trees shade the south end. Perfect park for family picnics, sports tournaments, and even weddings.

  • Located approximately 1.3 miles north of Ocean Shores, between Ocean Shores and the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. Camping, RV dump, potable water.

  • From downtown Ocean Shores take Point Brown Avenue south to Tonquin Avenue. Turn right to an unimproved parking area. Primitive area. No restrooms.

  • Take this 0.6-mile loop trail near Ocean Shores, Washington. It's an easy walk that usually takes about 10 minutes. Great for birdwatching, running, and walking, you'll likely have the trail to yourself. It’s open year-round and pretty to visit any time. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash.

  • This loop trail goes through the coastal forest of the Weatherwax Preserve and runs along Duck Lake, an important wetland. The preserve was saved thanks to dedicated community members. It’s a lovely forest filled with many plants and animals. The trail is mostly flat, making it ideal for families and small children to enjoy nature. The trailhead has parking for about 6 cars, but there are no restrooms.

No Camping in the Parks. Commercial RV, trailer and tent camping is available at nearby State Parks and RV parks.
