At the corner of Grays Harbor’s North Bay and the Pacific Ocean lies Ocean Shores, a six-mile-long peninsula with endless possibilities for your entertainment and relaxation.  Just a short drive from the Seattle -Tacoma area, Ocean Shores offers a convenient getaway from the everyday, with activities for nearly every interest.    

We have miles of beach for you to beachcomb, walk, make sandcastles, or even look for agates.  Choose between the wide beaches that allow driving, or the walkable beaches of the bay or Damon Point.  Climb the rocks at the Jetty and watch for whales and porpoises.  Fly a kite in the coastal breezes.  Try your luck at windsurfing, surf fishing, horseback riding or electric bikes…or many other beach activities.  Just be sure to be out on the beach at the end of the day, because there is nothing like a Washington Coast Sunset!

If you enjoy boating, kayaking, or fishing, check out the 23 miles of freshwater canals and Duck Lake.  Enjoy a picnic at one of our many city parks – two of which are on the banks of the lake.  Outdoor activities also include a walk through the Weatherwax Rain Forest, scouting for migratory birds, bike riding, or just enjoying the abundance of deer and other wildlife that roam the peninsula.  Did we mention the world class golf course?

More of an indoor type?  Peruse the variety of shops in Ocean Shores that feature everything from vintage to trendy.  Take the time to pamper yourself at one of the many salons or spas.  Catch amusements like arcade, bowling, or movies.

When it comes time to treat your palette, we have options for fine dining, casual dining, and everything in between.  Delight your taste buds in one of the local taprooms, or a flight of wine with charcuterie or something truly amazing like garlic cheesecake.

Time your vacation carefully, and you may be able to catch one of the festivals and events at the Ocean Shores Convention Center.  Plan your next event in one of our venues!  We can make your wedding, conference, or meeting one that will always be remembered.
